The Ohio Arts Council was established in 1965 to support the arts in Ohio.  They work to make sure there is a quality level of artistic experiences available to everyone in Ohio.  The Council feels that art helps benefit the culture, education, and economics in Ohio.  They offer funding and other programs to help support the development of the arts.  They support public art, individual artists, and art organizations.
